Walter Kissling
Walter is a member of Carao Ventures’ Board of Directors. He has principally dedicated his career to the areas of finance and real estate, and also has vast experience in matters related to stock exchange operations and innovating banking operations. He has also invested in Costa Rican startups.
He was part of one of the main financial groups in Costa Rica where he developed the company’s securities and online personal banking operations and became a pioneer in Costa Rica’s private pensions industry. Additionally, he founded NAVSAT in 2006, a navigation and geo-localization company with GPS technology. Currently, he is a member of various boards of directors.
Walter earned a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and has an MBA in banking and finance from INCAE.
