Tomás Arias
Tomás is an analyst at Carao Ventures. He is responsible for aiding the investment team in conducting research for and assessing new opportunities, as well as working with current portfolio companies and founders.
He is currently a senior at the University of Costa Rica studying Business Administration. Tomás has worked as a teaching assistant at the University and has helped faculty conducting research on the entrepreneurship landscape in Costa Rica. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a partner enablement intern at VMware.
Tomás has a deep interest in how Fintech, Crypto and the Creator Economy are re-shaping the Latin American landscape. His favorite activities include soccer, tennis, yoga and reading.
