Inés Zuriaga del Castillo
Inés is Senior Associate at Carao Ventures. She boasts an impressive track record as both a startup operator and investor, with over a decade of experience.
Prior to joining Carao Ventures, Inés established and oversaw the venture capital department at Arcano Partners, a renowned Spanish investment and advisory firm with over €5bn in assets under management. During her tenure at Arcano Partners, Inés spearheaded the establishment of a groundbreaking venture capital fund of funds. This innovative initiative focused on strategic investments in top-tier funds across the United States, Europe, and Israel. Prior to that, she led disruptive innovation and corporate venture capital at global healthcare insurance provide Sanitas Bupa.
Inés started her career as a management consultant for Bain and Company in Madrid and London. Following her tenure at Bain, she gained invaluable operational experience at two prominent European startups, BlaBlaCar and Jobandtalent, where she led Corporate Development.
In 2019, Inés relocated to Costa Rica. She is committed to investing her time and expertise to support and advance Latin American founders and their startups. By leveraging her expertise and knowledge, Inés aims to foster the development of innovative businesses and drive economic growth in the region.
Inés holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), as well as an MBA from INSEAD.
